Job Title: Emerging Talent Development Specialist

Culina Group is seeking a skilled Emerging Talent Development Specialist to support the recruitment and training of new apprentices across our nationwide network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop Apprenticeship systems, policies, and procedures to support improvement plans and compliance with regulations regarding Levy Funding.
  • Liaise with Depots across the business to raise awareness of Apprenticeship opportunities and arrange 'Engagement Days' to discuss opportunities in more detail.
  • Identify Apprenticeship needs from Colleagues and other stakeholders and suggest appropriate Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Support the Group Emerging Talent Manager in managing KPIs, systems, and processes, and reporting on quality performance issues and trends.
  • Manage Emerging Talent initiatives, including designing and attending assessment centers, recruitment and jobs fairs, public engagement events, and managing the program and associated admin.
  • Work in partnership with the Business, other Emerging Team members, and Training providers to support the effective delivery of Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Manage and maintain strategic relationships with Training Providers supplying services related to Apprenticeships.
  • Attend Apprenticeship shows to spread awareness of the Group and Apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Keep and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all Emerging Talent initiatives training undertaken.
  • Engage with members of the public to grow the business profile and wider network.
  • Work closely with industry professionals and associations to offer advice and support where necessary.
  • Create relationships and work with underrepresented groups, charities, and Corporate Social Enterprise companies to explore hidden talent pools.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications.
  • Strong verbal reasoning skills and the ability to communicate across a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills to deliver accurate information to trainees.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including accurate data analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder projects, meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Experience in transport and warehouse environments is desirable.
  • A flexible, robust approach with the ability to adapt to changing environments is essential.
  • Knowledge of work-based learning programs, including Apprenticeships and the Digital Account System, is essential.
  • Able to manage effectively and communicate at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
  • Full UK driving license is essential for the role.
