Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and equipment repairs.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any home maintenance concerns, including emergencies related to the fabric of the building or systems contained within.
- Contractor Management: Engage with approved contractors as needed and source alternative suppliers when required.
- Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day supervision, objective setting, and annual reviews for the Maintenance Assistant, as well as approval of hours, absence management, and holiday authorization.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as safety and fire safety systems.
- Decision Making: Demonstrate the ability to make responsible choices and decisions that prioritize the best interests of our residents.
