Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Highly Specialized Clinical Psychologist - Infant Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for infants and their parents/caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a caseload of infants and parents/caregivers and deliver 1:1 and group interventions such as Circle of Security Parenting and Video Interaction Guidance.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team formulation and reflective practice.
  • Run reflective practice sessions for partner staff and agencies.
  • Deliver relevant training and offer supervision to staff within the team.
  • Offer regular consultation slots.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm, applicable skills, and professionalism are essential.
  • Training in infant mental health and relevant interventions will be provided.

Working Arrangements:

This post is available as a full-time position or as a job share for part-time hours.
