Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing our accounting, financial reporting, and global tax compliance using QuickBooks and Stripe Tax.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Management: Oversee all aspects of accounting within QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop comprehensive financial reports utilizing QuickBooks, Stripe, and Baremetrics data.
  • Global Tax Compliance: Set up, monitor, and file returns for global sales taxes with a strong focus on indirect taxes, US Sales/Local Taxes, UK VAT, AU GST, etc., using Stripe Tax.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work in close coordination with our CPA and core team to maintain tax compliance and address any financial issues. Provide written support and guidance to our team, upholding high standards of communication in native-like English.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS sales tax management, demonstrating a track record of meticulous financial handling.
  • Qualifications: Experience in filing sales tax returns in US, UK, and EU (OSS). Demonstrable proficiency with Stripe and QuickBooks is essential.
  • Skills: Exceptional numerical aptitude and an unwavering attention to detail. Proven ability to navigate challenging situations and receive feedback with professionalism and poise. Self-motivated, with the initiative to reach out proactively to official agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
