We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to join our Strategic Projects Team at Manchester Metropolitan University.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of our ambitious strategic projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution.

Key responsibilities will include providing administrative support, managing project documentation, and coordinating stakeholder engagement.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience of working in a complex environment, balancing competing priorities to deliver high-quality project support.

As a member of our Strategic Projects Team, you will play a critical role in driving forward our strategic agenda and contributing to the development of an outstanding teaching and learning experience for our students.

Key to delivering this agenda is our portfolio of strategic projects, which represent major strategic investments by the University aimed at generating a step-change.

The portfolio is managed by our Strategic Projects team, which provides dedicated, high-quality project and programme support.

As a Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for your project, working closely with the Project Manager.
  • Managing administrative support for your project, and providing support for the effective planning, co-ordination and delivery of strategic projects.

We are committed to developing an outstanding teaching and learning experience for our students, whilst also building a research-rich culture to address some of the biggest challenges facing society today.

Our Strategic Projects Team is responsible for ensuring cross-project oversight and control, standardised reporting and management of risks, issues and project benefits.
