Gastroenterology Specialist with Hepatology Expertise

About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of Hepatology, including managing pre- and post-transplant patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Provision of Clinical Services: Provide high-quality clinical services to patients, working closely with other medical professionals and support staff.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Audit and Quality Improvement: Contribute to medical audits and quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Teaching and Education: Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, sharing knowledge and expertise with junior medical staff.
- Research and Publication: Engage in relevant research projects, publishing articles and case reports in peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Full Registration with GMC and GMC Specialist Register on date of appointment.
- Experience: Wide experience in all aspects of Hepatology, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent in Gastroenterology/Hepatology, with experience in managing pre- and post-transplant patients.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, including London Zone Allowance.
