Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AWE plc. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize asset-related projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshops to identify and mitigate potential failures.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support asset performance analysis.
  • Provide technical expertise in the application of maintenance optimization processes.
  • Ensure stakeholder communities are provided with asset performance and project delivery status information as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • ONC/HNC in Engineering Discipline or suitable experience gained in an engineering or building environment.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management, Facilitation, and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding and knowledge of regulation and legislation with regards to engineering and maintenance.
  • Experience of negotiation and facilitation to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Knowledge/experience of ISO55000 and previous knowledge of working with EAM systems (Infor, SAP, Maximo etc) is desirable but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel especially).
  • Experience of reading and understanding technical information and/or have experience in working with Asset Information and Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
