About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). As a PCSO, you will play a vital role in keeping our communities safe and building relationships with local residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct highly visible foot patrols to engage with the community and identify potential issues.
  • Provide reassurance and support to victims of crime and anti-social behaviour.
  • Build relationships with community leaders, businesses, and local schools to promote community policing.
  • Work with young people to prevent crime and promote positive relationships.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform policing strategies and improve community safety.
Requirements
  • Be aged 17 at the time of application and 18 before starting the role.
  • Have lived in the UK for three continuous years prior to application.
  • Have leave to enter or remain in the UK for an indefinite period.
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements for the role.
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary of £26,487 plus unsocial hours shift allowance.

  • 177.6 hours of annual leave, rising to 214.6 hours depending on length of service.
