Job Title: Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager

Connect It Utility Services Limited is a growing multi-utility company seeking a Technical Services Manager to support our success. This role will oversee a portfolio of multi-utility infrastructure projects, driving projects from award to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee a portfolio of Gas, Water, Electric, and EVC projects, driving projects from award to construction.
  2. Be a strong communicator and primary point of contact for clients and construction colleagues to discuss project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  3. Work closely with engineers and design teams to ensure timely and accurate design production.
  4. Support design engineers and sign off design methodologies.
  5. Effectively handover projects to construction colleagues for autonomous delivery.
  6. Engage with utility companies and stakeholders to seek permissions and resolve engineering difficulties.
  7. Liaise with electricity, gas, and water networks to ensure processes are followed and documentation is completed.
  8. Provide support and advice to estimating and design teams for complex schemes.
  9. Take ownership of site and design changes, communicating with commercial colleagues on cost increases or scope changes.
  10. Accurately identify business risks to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.
  11. Support commercial and business development teams with tender responses and business opportunities.
  12. Create system processes and flows to drive automation and efficiency.
  13. Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  1. 5 years utility industry experience.
  2. IEng or CEng registration with a relevant professional institution or actively working towards this.
  3. Familiarity with CDM requirements.
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels.
  5. Effective time management and proficient use of Microsoft applications and company systems.
Additional:
  1. BEng or Meng related degree.
  2. Experience or education in AutoCAD for viewing drawings.
  3. Experience of regulatory change and implementation.
