If so, our Nonprofit Audit Graduate Programme could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a trainee auditor, you will work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge in audit and accounting. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of nonprofit clients, including charities, museums, and arts and culture organizations. You will also have the chance to gain experience in other areas of the business, such as data analytics and tax.

Our programme is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the nonprofit sector. You will receive comprehensive training and support, including a Level 7 apprenticeship and a range of internal and external training opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and senior management.

You should have a strong commitment to delivering excellent client service, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting audit fieldwork on behalf of nonprofit clients
  • Reviewing accounts and drafting basic corporation tax computations
  • Assisting with managing client expectations and deadlines
  • Drafting recommendations for improvements to clients' financial systems and controls
  • Attending client meetings and supporting with drafting of close out audit meeting agenda and points for discussion
  • Maintaining knowledge of relevant ISA requirements and MKS internal policies
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of double entry accounting/bookkeeping
  • Working with other trainees to deliver assignments and assisting with their personal development
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in any discipline
  • At least 112 UCAS points from three A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications
  • 2:2 or above from a degree in any discipline
  • Available and permitted to work in the UK from the start date of the programme
