At Moore Kingston Smith, we're committed to helping you achieve your career goals in nonprofit audit and accounting. Our Graduate ACA Programme offers a unique opportunity to gain professional qualifications while working with a variety of nonprofit clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audit fieldwork on behalf of nonprofit clients, with support from the wider audit team.
- Review accounts in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards and legal requirements.
- Draft basic corporation tax computations.
- Assist with managing client expectations and deadlines.
- Draft recommendations for improvements to clients' financial systems and controls.
- Attend client meetings with the wider team.
- Support with drafting of close out audit meeting agenda and points for discussion.
- Maintain knowledge of ISA requirements and MKS internal policies in producing audit files.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry accounting/bookkeeping.
- Work with other trainees to deliver assignments and assist with their personal development.
We're seeking graduates from any degree discipline who are enthusiastic about building strong relationships and collaborating with clients and colleagues. A proactive, results-driven attitude and a growth mindset are essential for success in this role.
To be eligible for the programme, you'll need to have obtained at least 112 UCAS points from three A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications, and have achieved a 2:2 or above from a degree in any discipline.
