Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Development Engineer to join our team at a top manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. As a Hardware Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting test systems for power and magnetic products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate design, development, and support of test systems for power and magnetic products.
  • Organize and perform project work, including the design of in-house test equipment and ancillary departmental systems.
  • Develop and maintain primary test platform software.
  • Generate plans for new work and oversee technician work.
  • Provide technical support and maintain parametric data on test parameters.
  • Facilitate repair and calibration of test systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a hardware and power/electronics environment.
  • Educated to degree level in the Electronics field or time served as a Test Development Engineer.
  • Familiarity with principles of testing of power components (DC-DC Converters primarily).
  • Experience with NI TestStand and test fixture design essential.
  • Knowledge of C# or other.NET languages essential.
  • Automation experience, particularly in Manufacturing/Test Environment.
