Transaction Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Services Director to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our advisory team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, driving business growth, and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage larger client engagements, including project scope definition, resourcing, and progress monitoring.
- Develop and review analysis in Excel, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to the management of the project team, including briefing, supervising, and developing junior staff.
- Assist Partners, Directors, and Associate Directors in developing existing and new service stream practices.
- Liaise with clients on risk management, progress, and monitoring information flows, and provide timely responses to client inquiries.
- Ensure client feedback is captured, addressed, and effectively communicated to the project manager/director.
- Identify and recognize new project and business opportunities, and inform the project director or partner as appropriate.
- Support the conversion of opportunities into chargeable work, including pitch participation.
- Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events, and stay up-to-date on the firm's services.
- Support recruitment, retention, motivation, and learning and development of the Transaction Services team, serving as a role model to junior staff.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
- Previous staff supervision or management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to continuous development and a willingness to learn and adapt.
