Account Management Specialist Senior Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Account Management Specialist Senior to drive strategic relationships with key clients and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to meet client objectives and maximize value for both the client and the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designated accounts by understanding their needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the engagement.
- Proactively identify and address client issues, concerns, or challenges to ensure prompt resolution and maintain client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services or products offered to clients and effectively cross-selling or upselling additional offerings.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal teams.
- Work to increase revenue from existing clients by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion, and accurately forecasting revenue projections.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment on client needs and objectives.
- Monitor client satisfaction levels, gathering feedback, and taking proactive measures to ensure high levels of client retention and loyalty.
Requirements
- Technical and Commercial Skills: A solid technical background combined with strong commercial skills will enable you to understand and meet customer needs effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages, especially French, will be a significant advantage in communicating with diverse clients.
- Strategic Pricing and Account Planning: The ability to develop pricing strategies and execute account plans by aligning with key stakeholders and tracking progress against targets is crucial.
- Adaptability and Communication: Explaining complex technical information in a way that is understandable and useful to various audiences, and developing account strategies that balance customer requirements with business capabilities, will be key to your success.
Qualifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Significant level of relevant work experience, including previous customer and/or product experience required. Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
