Site Manager

As a Site Manager at KUS Power Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering all site-based construction elements associated with multi-discipline projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely completion of projects while fully satisfying customer requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaise with stakeholders to manage construction activities, including programme progression, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Administer Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and ensure safety processes are upheld onsite.
- Liaise with Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase.
- Receive, manage, and issue drawings for construction at site level, ensuring construction meets design requirements.
- Work with Team Leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery on site.
- Oversee, coordinate, and manage all completions.
- Manage sub-contractor onsite activities.
- Manage internal direct reports for the Construction team.
- Provide input into design reviews as required.
- Plan ahead, providing all necessary documentation, resources, tools, materials, consumables, H&S equipment, and transport to ensure safe and efficient construction.
- Manage and coordinate site Acceptance Testing as required.
- Manage the delivery of all 'As-Built' documentation throughout onsite construction & commissioning phases.
- Complete site audits and inspections when required, ensuring the highest standard of quality is maintained.
- Team player with knowledge of safe systems of work and a recognised industrial/commercial electrical Modern Apprenticeship or degree-level qualification.
- Experience of industrial electrical containment construction to current electrical regulation SMSTS Certified.
- SSE Authorised.
- Experience working in HV outdoor compound substation environment, up to 33kv.
- NEBOSH, full first aid at work.
- Comfortable with overnight stays/travel up to and over 2 hours.
