Teaching SEND Pupils Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our team at Connex Education. This role involves teaching SEND pupils and contributing to their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons for SEND pupils, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with teaching assistants and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for SEND pupils
  • Develop and implement IEPs
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching SEND pupils
  • Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice
  • Excellent behavior management skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Requirements:
  • Additional SEND qualifications
  • Experience with EHCP processes
  • Knowledge of alternative communication methods
