Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled nursing care specialist to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Nurse, you will deliver face-to-face nursing care to adults in their own homes or local clinics.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience within a comparable role and demonstrable knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions. They will be able to prioritize and organize workload effectively, provide advice, and develop programs of care for individuals or groups of patients.
This is a permanent position that requires the post holder to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and night working. The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering face-to-face nursing care to adults in their own homes or local clinics
- Assessing patient needs and developing programs of care
- Providing advice and guidance to patients and colleagues
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and reports using electronic patient/service user record systems
Requirements:
- Membership of the relevant Professional Body
- Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio
- Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training
- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
