About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Cambian Complex Care. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest possible quality of care and support for the children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standard.
  • To lead and manage a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent care and support.
  • To work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child and young person.
  • To ensure that all aspects of the home are maintained to a high standard, including the physical environment and the provision of meals and activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a children's residential care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.52 - £15.24, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A sleep-in rate of £30.00.
