Job Title: Cybersecurity Network Specialist

Babcock International Group is a leading provider of complex products and services, with a strong focus on defense and security. As a Cybersecurity Network Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure network solutions for our clients.

This is a full-time position based at Hawthorn, with regular travel to other sites required. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

* Designing and implementing security & networking solutions through to supporting handover to operational support, considering multi-supplier/multi-platform environments across the estate.

* Supporting the delivery of Security Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise and IS/IT Architecture

* Interpreting and applying appropriate standards, policies and legislation whilst working with Information Assurance (IA) leads from the programme.

* Applying the principles of secure network, applications, gateways & interfaces across the estate.

* Evaluating new technologies and delivering cost benefit analysis to support business use cases

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and supporting Cisco network and security technologies in enterprise environments, as well as a valid CCNP Security or CCNP Routing & Switching Certification.
