Red Bull Powertrains, a leading force in the world of Formula One, is seeking an experienced Electric Powertrain Specialist to join their Validation & Testing Group. Based at their state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes, this role involves performing physical testing to prove the electrical elements of powertrain systems, covering a wide range from single components to full system with electrified powertrain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric powertrains and/or their components testing, preferably within a top-class racing environment. They should possess demonstrated practical knowledge in ERS systems (motor, inverter, battery) and basic electrics and hydraulics systems skills within motorsport. An apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 vocational qualification in Mechanical or Motor Vehicle Engineering, along with relevant technical experience, is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing HV Units Under Test on advanced test beds, assembling and commissioning jigs/rigs based on technical drawings, and operating facility and test equipment according to work instructions and pre-determined procedures. They will also need to maintain test dyno & rigs run logs and report facility breakdowns.
