Facilities Maintenance Technician

Gi Group is currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our well-established client in Bristol. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £37,162-£41,075 per annum.
Job Overview:This position involves working as part of a team to maintain the condition of kiln cars, ensuring they remain safe and efficient. The successful candidate will have experience in basic fabrication or building skills, with an understanding of welding and forklift operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Repairing and renewing kiln car refractories
- Inspecting and monitoring kiln car condition to identify immediate and long-term repair requirements
- Updating kiln car maintenance records
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in work areas
- Flexible availability for overtime and supporting the team when needed
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, with a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
