Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People Ltd in Leighton Buzzard. As a key member of our social housing team, you will be responsible for managing the commercials of our sub-regional office, supporting forecasting and future projections, and managing the CVR process on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commercials of the sub-regional office, including forecasting and future projections.
  • Manage the CVR process on a monthly basis for all sub-regional contracts.
  • Monitor contract progress and manage controls around individual contract budgets.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow, and prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the client or client's representative.
  • Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors, and assist in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders.
  • Liaise with contract managers to establish project specifications and requirements, and mentor and support surveyors in the region.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the social housing industry.
  • UK Full Driving License.
  • Able to pass a DBS check.
  • Good IT skills.
