A leading ground works and civil engineering subcontractor is seeking an experienced Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to an upcoming retirement.
The company works on a range of projects from £20,000 to £2m across general contracting and residential schemes.
The Managing Director is supportive and fair, promoting a no-blame culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for various projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and budgets.
- Provide support in contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
