About the Role
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our PALS and Complaints Department as a PALS Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient advocacy and support, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for patients and their families, providing information and support regarding our services and procedures.
- Manage and resolve complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff at all levels, ensuring that our patients receive seamless and coordinated care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient experience and feedback.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as healthcare or social care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and staff at all levels.
- Experience of working in a patient advocacy or complaints handling role, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
