About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic therapy team as a Senior Physiotherapist, Band 6. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and develop their own skills and that of the service, providing high-quality and evidence-based therapy.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of the clinical area in the absence of the team leader. They will also supervise and appraise junior therapists, support workers, and undergraduates with the support of the Band 7 Clinical Lead Therapist.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Therapy Department's Research and Development team to provide CPD support to staff, including Masters-level training. They will also contribute to the evaluation and service development in the clinical area in line with national and local drivers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy, be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, and have experience of working in the NHS in the UK. You should also have excellent communication skills, be able to network with other professionals, and work flexibly in response to changing demands.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of £45,839-£62,001 depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave entitlement.
