About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Shopping Consultant to join our team at Selfridges. As a key member of our Personal Shopping team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales and profit targets.

Your primary objective will be to nurture and develop relationships with high potential and high net worth clients, generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth.

You will be a commercial mindset expert, staying responsive to customer needs and sharing inspiration with your team to drive business results. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements to stay ahead of our competitors.

As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities, promoting our products and services to a wider audience.

You will be an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand in public and store events, and interacting with potential and existing clients to provide guidance on our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Nurture and develop relationships with high potential and high net worth clients to generate new business opportunities.
  2. Monitor customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements to stay ahead of our competitors.
  3. Partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities to promote our products and services.
  4. Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand in public and store events.
  5. Interact with potential and existing clients to provide guidance on our services.
  6. Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to client enquiries, booking, and following up on deliveries and client alterations.
  7. Maintain housekeeping standards in the client rooms, including prepping for client consultations and laying out product options.
  8. Work collaboratively with various departments, including the wider personal shopping team and Fashion Workroom, to deliver exceptional service and standards.
