Job Title:

Senior Audio Designer

Blizzard Entertainment is a pioneer in the gaming industry, crafting immersive worlds and legendary games that captivate audiences worldwide. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of a new, unannounced game.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality audio that enhances the player experience. This includes creating, recording, and editing audio assets for various game elements, as well as implementing audio using in-house tools or industry-standard software and game engines.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative director to execute the audio design vision.
  • Design and deliver high-quality audio assets that enrich the player experience.
  • Implement audio using in-house tools or industry-standard software and game engines.
  • Build and maintain effective mix architectures to ensure audio consistency throughout the game.
  • Test and ensure accurate playback and readiness for release.
  • Regularly review work with senior team members to maintain a consistent and high-quality audio style.
  • Collaborate with developers to explore new tools and techniques to innovate audio design.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by building strong communication channels between the audio team and other departments.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of at least two released games.
  • Expertise in at least one DAW.
  • Proficiency with standard audio software such as REAPER, Pro Tools, and Izotope RX.
  • Demonstrated sound design and editing skills, supported by a strong demo reel.
  • Ability to design audio for a wide range of styles.
