Job Overview

Groovy Gecko is seeking a skilled Technical Webcast Producer to join our team for a 4-6 month fixed term contract. As a Technical Webcast Producer, you will be responsible for delivering daily online sessions for a Blue-Chip FTSE 100 organisation to a multinational audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stream configuration and testing using MS Teams
  • Client liaison and communication
  • Operation of Webcasting equipment
  • Managing encoders, audio and video feeds, slide synchronisation, Q&A Moderation and Interactive Polls
  • In house monitoring of webcast rehearsals and live events
  • Manage webcast events single handed to a high standard
Requirements
  • 2+ years professional live event streaming experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Teams Live Event, Zoom Webinar, or Webex Webinar experience
  • VMix vision mixing or equivalent software, (Wirecast, Tricaster etc)
  • Good understanding of live online video streaming
  • Comfortable dealing with clients both on video and on phone
  • Effectively manage their own time and priorities
  • Understanding of broadcast signal workflows and routing
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Coachable, willingness to learn new skills and technologies
  • Customer service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask on a live event
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have a good level of computer literacy - Windows OS, Office Suite (Excel), Google Suite
  • Basic understanding of networking
Desired Skills
  • Streaming and management of Microsoft Teams Event functions including input, configuration from external sources (including NDI)
  • An understanding of streaming protocols SRT, RTMP and HLS
  • Experience vison mixing VIRTUAL and HYBRID EVENTS
  • Use of live interactive / polling software like Vevox or Slido
  • Windows OS troubleshooting and proficiency
  • Good knowledge of networking
What We Offer

Circa £3,000 per month depending on experience. Plus Loyalty and Performance bonus for right applicants.
