We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team at Aramark Premier Shop in Aldergrove, Antrim. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Date stock, price check items, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process transactions, manage cash handling, and maintain a secure environment
  • Receive and process deliveries, restock shelves, and maintain visual merchandising standards
  • Conduct stock takes, maintain accurate records, and report any discrepancies
  • Perform daily paperwork, including sales reports and stock management
  • Adhere to food hygiene and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Develop skills to open and close the store, with ongoing support and training

Requirements

  • No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided
  • Previous customer service experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and occasionally work alone
  • DBS check required
