Credit Controller

Award-winning company Hooray Works Ltd is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their thriving finance team.
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment of debt and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with customers to chase overdue payments and resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Allocate incoming invoices to customer portals and maintain accurate records.
- Request credit notes as required and collaborate with management to agree on necessary actions.
- Prepare aged debt reports to identify and address potential issues.
- Work closely with the wider team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Previous experience working in credit control or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
