Advanced Clinical Practitioner Role

About the Role:
The NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Worcester City Inpatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital. As a versatile and impactful role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
This opportunity allows you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments, ensuring you can deliver compassionate and effective care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with complex presentations and make clinical decisions based on these assessments.
* Work unsupervised to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment and decision-making skills in accordance with agreed local, regional, and national policies and guidelines.
* Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of healthcare responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
* Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
* Recognize and work within your own competency and professional code of conduct as regulated by the NMC/HCPC.
* Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.
Salary Information:
We offer a competitive salary, with rates varying based on shift patterns:
* Day: £29.33 per hour
* Night: £38.13 per hour
* Sunday/Bank Holiday: £46.93 per hour
In addition to your hourly rate, you will receive weekly pay to give you access to your wages more quickly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must hold an NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional qualification, meet the legal prescribing standard to train as a non-medical prescriber, and possess a Paediatric Advanced Life Support qualification.
