We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual performance of projects at Octavius Infrastructure. This role involves overseeing projects' financial performance, ensuring profit targets and efficiency savings are achieved, and adhering to contractual timescales and administering change control.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in Quantity Surveying, experience in a civil engineering environment, preferably Highways, and knowledge of NEC contract management. They will also possess strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Octavius Infrastructure, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the financial and contractual performance of projects
  • Overseeing projects' financial performance, ensuring profit targets and efficiency savings are achieved
  • Adhering to contractual timescales and administering change control
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities effectively
  • Conducting compliant procurement processes and selections
  • Dealing with commercial queries and advising on legal matters
  • Effectively managing the Supply Chain and conducting audits
  • Monitoring project progress, maintaining accurate financial logs, and preparing reports
  • Ensuring compliance with assurance processes, policies, and procedures
  • Building strong relationships with project teams, clients, and commercial team members
  • Coaching and supporting junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development
