Strategic Sales Category Analyst

As a key member of our Strategic Sales and Analytics organization, this position focuses on driving analytics and strategic support to the SSA Category Lead and providing proactive business insights. This role will be responsible for crafting compelling sales performance insights, serving as the expert on category performance, market trends, and competitors' performance monitoring for assigned sub-categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive actionable reporting to drive winning at each subcategory.
- Serve as the category expert internally, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, positioning, competitive landscape, and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies.
- Manage delivery of daily, weekly, monthly deliverables reporting on the health of the category.
- Identify category gaps/opportunities, craft sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate Ninja from competitors, helping to increase distribution, space, and displays.
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to provide insights into business drivers and performance trends.
Requirements:
- Obsessed with winning mindset.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Genuine desire to learn about commercial management and grow into the role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial data, identify trends, and draw insights to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
