Landfill Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landfill Manager to join our team at All On Sea Markkleebergersee. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our solid waste facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities- Manage landfill personnel, including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance
- Inspect and maintain the landfill facility, including heavy equipment and scales
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including CDPHE rules and regulations
- Develop and implement waste management plans, including hazardous waste collection and disposal
- Represent the department and/or County in interdepartmental, interagency, community, and professional meetings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in solid waste management
- Four-year degree in a related field, such as civil or environmental engineering
- SWANA MOLO certification preferred
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License

Working ConditionsThe successful candidate will be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays. The job involves frequent exposure to dirt, dust, extremes of temperature, and noxious fumes and odors, as well as potential exposure to hazardous materials.
