Trostan Dene is a renowned manufacturing business serving a tier 1 client base in their industry. With a strong reputation as a genuine top-tier supplier to prominent household names, they are now seeking a Credit Controller for a one-year contract commencing in January with a handover period.

The Key Responsibilities:

This position focuses on managing regular customers set up for daily payments with occasional overdue payments to chase. It differs significantly from traditional credit control roles. The successful candidate will spend a considerable amount of time maintaining customer relationships and account management through weekly catch-up calls, ensuring seamless communication.

  • Developing and implementing effective credit control strategies to optimize cash flow
  • Managing customer relationships and account maintenance through regular communication
  • Processing customer and commercial invoices, allocating payments, and chasing overdue accounts
  • Conducting credit checks for new customers and setting up accounts in accounting systems
  • Coordinating with internal teams to resolve queries and issues related to customer accounts

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £30,000 and flexible working hours, offering the option to condense workdays to four. Additionally, our employees enjoy 33 days of holiday per year (including Bank Holidays), pro-rata for four days, plus various other benefits.
