Care & Quality Assurance Officer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiopharmacy team at Royal Liverpool University Hospital as a Care & Quality Assurance Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in our department.

About the Department:

Our Radiopharmacy is designed to deliver a wide range of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging, therapy, and investigational medicinal products. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our Pharmaceutical Quality System.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in releasing products manufactured in the Specials licensed unit.
  • Support the Senior QA Officer in performing quality control testing of products.
  • Develop and maintain the Radiopharmacy training program.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in radiopharmacy or technical services.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
