Electrical Supervisor Job Description

At John Sisk and Son, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Construction Management team. As an Electrical system(s) owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on pharmaceutical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in promoting a positive safety culture and demonstrating strong knowledge of HSE practices.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of method statements and permits for electrical and other relevant contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Track and document the progress of on-site activities, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) and inspection test records (ITRs).
  • Attend and lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standards.
  • Manage the closeout of relevant punch list items to ensure project/system completion.
  • Review and approve turnover documentation to ensure it meets project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and witness commissioning activities.
  • Attend meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision.
