Electrical Supervisor Job Description

The Electrical Supervisor will play a key role in the Construction Management team, overseeing electrical systems on pharmaceutical projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of John Sisk and Son.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in promoting a positive safety culture, demonstrating a strong knowledge of HSE practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of method statements and permits for electrical and other relevant contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Track and document progress, identifying deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs).
  • Attend and lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standards.
  • Manage the closeout of relevant punch list items to ensure project/system completion.
  • Review and approve turnover documentation, ensuring it meets project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and witness commissioning activities.
  • Attend meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.
  • Provide updates, address concerns, and collaborate with the project team and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision.
