Job Title: Automotive Service EngineerEstimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Hartwell Automotive Group. As an Automotive Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to meet company and franchise standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times.
- Diagnose vehicle faults, replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Carry out work efficiently within manufacturers' servicing and repair times.
- Advise customers on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on their vehicles.
- Qualified to NVQ level or equivalent.
- MOT Tester certification.
- At least 5 years of experience after qualifying period, preferably in a Franchise Dealership (or similar) with Ford.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work.
