Financial Manager

Join a dynamic and experienced team at Trial Balance Consulting as we seek a skilled Finance Manager to support our client's growth. This is a pivotal role within the business, requiring strong commercial acumen and excellent management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts team and oversee transactional and statutory accounting processes, including purchase and sales ledgers.
- Collaborate with the management team to design and implement systems and process improvements.
- Produce detailed management accounts with full commentary.
- Process monthly payroll and liaise with external stakeholders and Chartered Accountants.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, manage accruals and prepayments, and forecast P&L and cash flow.
- Support Directors with company projects requiring financial costings and analysis.
Requirements:
- Experience working with modern accounting platforms (ideally Xero) and good MS Excel competency.
- Qualification status is open-minded, welcoming applicants with part/fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA or those qualified by experience/AAT.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum of two days per week based at the company's offices in Stow-on-the-Wold. The successful candidate will be a prominent member of the business, working closely with a motivated and professional team.
