Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the health of our company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts team and oversee transactional and statutory accounting processes, including purchase and sales ledgers
- Collaborate with the management team to design and implement systems and process improvements
- Produce detailed management accounts with full commentary
- Process monthly payroll and liaise with external stakeholders and Chartered Accountants
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, manage accruals and prepayments, and forecast P&L and cashflow
- Support Directors with company projects requiring financial costings and analysis
Requirements:
- Experience working with modern accounting platforms (ideally Xero) and good MS Excel competency
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience/AAT
- Excellent team-working and communication skills
