About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Payroll Administrator to join our UK Payroll team. As a Trainee Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the processing of payrolls for a range of clients, from diverse businesses and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the UK Payroll team with payroll processing, including starters and leavers, statutory payments, RTI submissions, and pension deductions.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data, answer queries, resolve problems, and provide payroll support.
  • Support the UK Payroll Team Leads with general administration activities and the UK Payroll Operations Manager with ad-hoc project support.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification or excellent results at Higher level, with a focus on English and Maths.
  • Experience in an administration or customer service environment, with strong IT skills, specifically Excel.
  • A positive, confident, and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
