Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations diary, allocating resources, briefing the team members for their daily activities, booking external resources/labour, and issuing equipment.
  • Ensure the branch operates within budget, maximizing profitability and minimizing costs.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, promoting customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.
  • Manage and develop the operational team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives, providing input and recommendations on operational matters.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on quality and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships and influencing others.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
