Job Title: HGV Column Erector

FM Conway is seeking a skilled HGV Column Erector to join our Street Lighting division. As an HGV Column Erector, you will be part of a team working on electrical lighting installations across various high-profile projects in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working within health and safety plans, safe systems of work, and risk assessments
  • Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling
  • Undertaking excavations, installations, and takedowns of street lighting furniture
  • Ensuring timely and cost-efficient site works while adhering to company health and safety processes and procedures
  • Maintaining plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Street Lighting industry
  • HGV Class 2 license
  • NPORS, ALLMI, CPCS Lorry Loader operator certifications
  • NRSWA Units 1-9
