Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping, Laundry team. As a key player in our operation, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the linen room and ensuring the best possible care of linen used in the hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the linen room overnight to ensure a smooth morning shift
- Handle guest requests, belongings, and personal items with care and discretion
- Prepare and deliver essential stock, promoting a one-team mindset
- Keep a clean and tidy work environment at all times
- Move trolleys to prepare the area for the morning shift
- Separate food and beverage linen
- Separate linen to be washed internally and externally
- Return uniforms to colleagues
- Collect guest laundry overnight and perform express services when needed
- Separate dry cleaning from other garments within colleague laundry
- Keep accurate records of linen and uniforms
- Ensure machines are prepared for the morning shift
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- Warm, enthusiastic, and positive personality with excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and at high speed
- Frequently kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, reaching, standing, and walking
- Can-do attitude and ability to adapt to changes
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Highly responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to develop skills in luggage service, laundry services, and operating equipment
