CPU Research Scientist

We are seeking an experienced CPU research scientist to join our team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microarchitecture and memory systems, with expertise in research and development of novel CPU architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development of novel microarchitecture optimisation techniques
- Prototype and test micro-optimisations using GEM5
- Analyse and present the results of mobile system profiling
- Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art technologies for improving mobile system energy efficiency
- Collaborate with the team to publish papers in top-tier conferences
Requirements:
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics or similar
- Deep knowledge of microarchitecture and memory systems
- Experience with the GEM5 simulation framework
- Expertise in C, C++, Python or similar scripting languages
- Knowledge of Android / Linux Kernel
- Experience in ARMv8/ARMv9
