About the Role

As a Bar and Waiting Assistant, you'll be part of our dynamic Food and Beverage Team, working in a range of food and drink areas, including the Members' Bars, Wear Park Restaurant, Pool Hut, and private rooms for meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure a memorable experience for our members and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders, serving drinks, and handling cash and card transactions.
  • Participate in regular team socials and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £10.50 for 21 years + and £10.20 for 18 – 20 years old.
  • Full-time and part-time positions available, with permanent and temporary contracts.
  • 28 days' holiday plus one extra day after three years, up to a maximum of 33 days.
  • Free on-site parking, discounts on food during working hours, and free use of the pools, gym, and rackets after three months.

Requirements

  • Aged 18 or over.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a desire to deliver excellent customer experiences is essential.
