About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to join our dynamic engineering team at Everpool. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing and producing accurate structural drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, including plans, sections, and details, in accordance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to interpret structural analysis and provide design solutions for various building structures.
  • Support the production of 3D models and BIM processes, ensuring models are accurate and adhere to project requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure structural designs integrate seamlessly with the overall project.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Structural Technician, ideally within a consulting or contractor environment.
  • HNC, HND, or Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM software. Experience with Tekla or other 3D modelling tools is desirable.
  • A good understanding of current UK structural design codes and building regulations.
  • Ability to work within a team, liaise with various stakeholders, and contribute to the success of the project.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Benefits:

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
