Contract Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our Responsive Maintenance division within the Wates Group. This role will be based out of our Lambeth office and will involve managing one of our social housing contracts, which may include voids, planned, and disrepair workstreams. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving target profit, increasing contract turnover, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of supervisors, administrators, planners, and operatives
  • Manage and monitor customer satisfaction across the contract
  • Ensure large multi-trade jobs are booked in and checked for required trades and timeframes
  • Oversee operatives' adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to identify and rectify invoicing issues
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance in accordance with the Wates Operating Framework

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the Repairs and Maintenance sector
  • Track record in managing large Maintenance contracts
  • Proven ability to manage a large and diverse direct labour organisation and Supply Chain
  • Full compliance with Health and Safety Management
  • Proven commercial acumen in running large Maintenance contracts
