About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Quartz Facility in Barton-upon-Humber. The successful candidate will work closely with our operational teams to resolve technical issues, improve efficiency, and drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational teams in resolving technical issues on the manufacturing line.
  • Work towards a zero-breakdown and zero-stop mentality, reducing maintenance costs and improving productivity.
  • Take ownership of the working area, monitoring key maintenance KPIs and implementing improvements.
  • Perform high-quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.
  • Support, suggest, and implement improvements in safety, technology, and process.
  • PLC fault finding and troubleshooting.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A fully qualified Electrical Engineer (18th Edition) with valid IEE regulations and over 1 year of experience.
  • Time-served Electrician with NVQ level 3.
  • Experience in a similar electrical function and industrial environment.
  • Understanding of PLC systems and their application in manufacturing.
